The boxing grannies coach, Mthunzi Maphosa, 27 (C) spares with a grannie during the twice weekly boxing grannies training session run by the 'A Team' gym in Cosmo City, Johannesburg, South Africa, 15 August 2024. The boxing grannies is the brain child of former body builder Claude Maphosa aka 'Coach', who started training the grannies in 2013. Many of them come to the training to keep fit and learn how to defend themselves. The ladies train twice a week for an two hours and the youngest grannie is 60 with the oldest being 86 years old.
