    Nice cartoon. But how short our memories are. It was once unthinkable for a local politician to resign over allegations. Now that they are finally doing it, we are reminding them why they never wanted to do it. If I was a politician and read this cartoon, I’d never resign either. And her resignation does help maintain what little integrity parliament has left. Had she stayed, it would have just made things worse and encourage corrupt politicians to further entrench themselves when they get caught.
