Joburg Pride 2022 march in pictures

South Africa’s first post-Covid Joburg Pride parade went off without a hitch in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Despite a US embassy terror warning and under the watchful eye of the police, Sandton, Johannesburg, came alive with Pride as members of the LGBTQI community sang and waved their pride flags. The community showed up and filled the streets with colour, enthusiasm and hope.
