My nephew can surely relate! His passport has been renewed, so all he had to do was collect it. He joined the queue at Durban early (not sure how early, but before opening, anyway) and got to number 8 in the queue at closing time and was turned away. Having stood there all day. When he went back the following day, there was no power to the whole street so they wouldn’t let anyone in to the building. Eish.
