    That day changed a lot of things. It changed travel forever. We were living in the US and it was inspiring how the country rallied. Flags sold out by 5pm and virtually every house flew a flag. Churches filled. Being in NY two weeks later was very different than before – locals spoke to visitors (really!). The rubble was still smoldering. It was a great example of great America. Now – they are a very different country. Tragic
