The DA Straightens Things Out, by Dr Jack & Curtis | Africartoons. 8 September 2020. I hope there's a followup criticising the EFF as well... Cheap shots only weaken our democracy.
Stupid. The one party that gives hope to SA. Where are the cartoons depicting the EFF hooligans ?
Niel, there's lots here https://www.zapiro.com/190704dm
If you want to critique the DA, from Monday you would have needed to use non racial stereotypes...
The DA goes for non racialism and the cartoon implies that it is racist! Mr.Editor, I object to this cartoon. Please remove it.
I may disagree with you...but I defend to the death your right to say it [hate speech excepted of course!]
You either agree with me or disagree with me. Make up your mind. Otherwise your message is meaningless.
Where do you get the idea that the DA is race oriented?
Bwa ha ha ha ha! Brilliant satire, gents - it's just a shame that the DA can't get its act together to appeal to the majority of citizens, because when the only truly viable opposition is still perceived as only being focused on minority interests, the chances of removing the thieves, nincompoops and tenderpreneurs of the ruling party are simply non-existent...
Oh, and as an aside to some of the other commentators: Satire only strengthens democracy, it doesn't weaken it. Whataboutism (the favourite go-to of Trump supporters) on the other hand, has no value in a democracy...
The DA had nothing to do with the Clicks ad. This is Really low but deliberate propaganda against the DA. Don’t cry if the EFF becomes the official opposition. Your peddling ‘wit gevaar’ and racial division is what the Nats and Nazis did. It worked.
Personally I'm getting tired of your biased and ill-informed digs at the DA, your skewed perspective. I'm not sure I want to continue donating money to you. The Clicks ad at worst did not consider the crazy times that infest SA. I do not believe for a moment that it was intentionally racist but simply did not recognise that it would present a possibility for the thugs of the far Left to stir, with a vengeance, the racial pot. On the other hand the EFF behaviour was despicable violence, low order thuggery, smashing up shops and looting. If you can't see the damage you do by grossly over rating the Clicks error and minimizing the violence of the EFF your perspective has truly been skewed?
This not satire. It is ignorance.
This is not ignorance. It is arrogance.
