Lava from a robust fissure eruption on Kilauea's east rift zone consumes a home, then threatens another, near Pahoa, Hawaii, USA, 06 May 2018. The total number of homes lost within the Leilani Estates subdivision thus far is 21, and geologists from the Hawaii Volcanoes Observatory do not expect the eruption to cease any time soon. A local state of emergency has been declared after Mount Kilauea erupted near residential areas, forcing mandatory evacuation of about 1,700 citizens from their nearby homes. The crater's floor collapsed on 01 May and is since then continuing to erode its walls and generating huge explosions of ashes. Several earthquakes have been recorded in the area where the volcanic eruptions continue, including a 6.9 magnitue earthquake which struck the area on 04 May. Suspended tax boss Tom Moyane will have a torrid time explaining away his “misconduct” at SARS to former Constitutional Court judge Kate O’Regan, who now chairs his disciplinary hearing. Served with four devastating charges last week, Moyane is gearing up for what he hopes will be an epic fight with President Cyril Ramaphosa. He seems to have no intention of fighting against the merits of the case against him just yet, but is about to challenge the process of his suspension and the way his disciplinary will be conducted.

If true, however, these claims would absolutely be related to his entire conduct as a human being.

Trump warns against electing his doppleganger

President Donald Trump has taken a break from threatening nuclear brinkmanship with Iran to voice his concern over a West Virginia primary candidate. The candidate is a rogue senator who is running on the brand “Tr,umpier than Trump”. Don Blankenship, an ex-convict coal lord, has been running on a campaign of stereotypically far-right racism and conspiracy theories. Even Trump, it seems, has his limits in political company.
