Lewis, the former partner in performance with Dean Martin, became a film acting and directing legend in his own right. A torrent of messages of sympathy has issued forth from performers across the globe. Larry King in particular summed Lewis' life up neatly, saying: "Jerry lived to make the world laugh, and laugh we did for decades. His talent was surpassed only by his humanitarianism. Following a moment of silence, the 99,000 capacity stadium erupted in a chant of "No Tinc por", Catalan that translates to "I'm not afraid". [Thirteen dead in CAR clashes](http://email.touchbasepro.com/t/d-l-ulwutl-l-q/) Violence between Muslim Seleka and Christian anti-Balaka militia has left 13 dead. The fighting erupted in Bria, 450km from the Central African Republic's capital Bangui. The fighting is believed to be over natural resources and control thereof. Observers inside the CAR have warned that the country may well be on the brink of catastrophe if no further intervention occurs. [Merchant vessel collides with navy destroyer](http://email.touchbasepro.com/t/d-l-ulwutl-l-a/) A US Navy destroyer was involved in a collision with a Singaporean merchant vessel. A report that revealed no information on injuries on either vessel, said damage was sustained to the USS John S McCain (DDG 56) on the port aft.
