amaBhungane and Scorpio #GuptaLeaks: How Eskom was captured

By AMABHUNGANE and SCORPIO

An explosive cache of emails from inside the Gupta empire has provided evidence of how the family captured the President, the government and key state-owned entities. This is the story about one of their most important conquests: Eskom.

May tipped to win, but lose majority

Prime Minister Theresa May is projected to win Britain's elections but could lose her parliamentary majority. If this scenario occurs, the entire gamble by May to hold snap elections could backfire disastrously. Labour ghoul Jeremy Corbyn jumped at the chance to urge May to resign. May wins the cocktail battle

The fate of British government may look dire, but Theresa May at least is ahead in the drinks race. A cocktail bar in Westminster announced that "Theresa's Kitten Heel Fizz", a champagne-based concoction, was leagues ahead of the Corbyn-themed vodka strawberry. Punters may as well enjoy the champagne while it lasts before Brexit negotiations end up taxing bubbles to oblivion.
