In an NBC interview last night, Putin flatly denied any proposal occurred where Jared Kushner suggested creating an open, unbugged communications channel with Moscow. Putin was also quick to deny any meddling in terms of hacking the elections, making for a very Russian, denial-laden sort of interview to watch. [Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt cut ties with Qatar](http://email.touchbasepro.com/t/d-l-ktjhury-l-q/) Saudi Araba began today's shenanigans by cutting all ties with Qatar, accusing it of destabilising the region. Bahrain for its part complained that Qatar had been meddling in its affairs. Aside from the three, the UAE had also joined the Qatar-shunning band.
