As US President Donald Trump and his administration seriously consider pulling out of the Paris Climate Deal, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has shifted tack, urging greater participation.
American anti-ballistic missile systems successfully intercepted and destroyed a test ICBM late on Tuesday. Clearly aimed at shaking a bigger missile stick back at North Korea, the test saw the interceptor destroy a fast-moving ICBM-type missile in the exo-atmosphere.
Hospital roof collapse report to be released
Gauteng Infrastructure MEC Jacob Mamabolo has confirmed that his department will release findings of an investigation into the collapse of a roof at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. In March, part of the hospital roof collapsed, revealing that a second part of the hospital’s ceiling was also unstable, which led to scepticism over the structural integrity of the entire facility.
Actress Keri Russell has been awarded a Hollywood walk of fame star. Known largely for her role as a KGB operative in The Americans, non-Millenials will remember Russell as the star making her debut in JJ Abrams’ Felicity: Two very different kinds of television series.
