Currently affecting 200,000 computers, the virus is designed by hacking group Shadow Brokers, but utilises exploits developed by the NSA. The attack encrypts users' files and demands a $300 bitcoin payment, which doubles after three days. [North Korea's new ballistic missile tested](http://email.touchbasepro.com/t/d-l-kytudkt-l-m/) North Korea announced on Monday that it had tested a new ballistic missile over the weekend. American intelligence officials confirmed that the new weapon had "unprecedented" range, putting Pacific bases into range. The Hwasong-12 was personally overseen by Dear Leader. [One dead as Ivory Coast mutiny intensifies](http://email.touchbasepro.com/t/d-l-kytudkt-l-c/) One person has been killed in the crossfire between mutinous rebels and Ivory Coast's military. The rebels, semi-integrated into the army, were protesting over pay. The army moved in on Sunday to quell the mutineers, who appeared to be the most disruptive in Bouake. Regardless, if left unchecked, Ivory Coast may be in for another bout of internal conflict. [Ebola outbreak a logistical nightmare -- WHO](http://email.touchbasepro.com/t/d-l-kytudkt-l-q/) The World Health Organisation (WHO) has announced that assisting an ebola-hit area in the remote jungles of the northern DRC is a logistical "challenge". Nine people have been infected so far in Likati, some 1,300km from Kinshasa.
