Mateen, an abusive, homophobic man, was killed in a shootout with authorities. Donald Trump, in true form, has already stated how this kind of thing won't happen under his leadership. The attacks were in retaliation for the SABC's creeping censorship allegations. Anonymous ceased the attack at around 16h00. SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago has accused the hacktivist group of attack a National Key Point. He could well be right.
