In this video, Mr. Mandela talks about passive resistance and its influence on the defiance campaign initiated by himself and his comrades. He also examines his first departure from a non-violent struggle and his realisation that an armed struggle would be inevitable.

Finally he speaks about the 1955 arrests, when 156 were arrested and charged with treason. **DM**
