Suspend Zulu, says Cosatu

Cosatu has called for the suspension of Simon Zulu, the husband of deputy public works minister Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu. Zulu, who works as a guide for his partially blind wife, is facing allegations of sexual misconduct after the Sunday Independent ran a story which alleges that he demanded sexual favours from a junior staff member. Cosatu also called for the reinstatement of the alleged victim, who according to the trade union federation's spokersperson, has been given special leave. Read more: Sapa, via News24
