NEWFLASH: Kalahari hijackers ordered to undergo mental observation

Three of the accused in the case of the Kalahari Resources hijacking - Haralambous Sferopoulos, Stephen Khoza, and Elvis Bongani Ndala - have been denied bail. They will remain in state custody in order to undergo mental observation. Magistrate Asika Ramlaal stated that she believed this to be in the interests of justice. The case will come before the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court again on 3 December.
