Saddam Hussein’s right-hand man sentenced to death

Tariq Aziz, who served under former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, as foreign minister and deputy prime minister among other roles has been handed down the death sentence by his country's supreme court. This punishment is reportedly for his role in persecuting religious parties.  Read more: BBC News
