Smoking chimpanzee dies

Charlie, the Manguang (Bloemfontein) Zoo's resident male chimpanzee has died at the ripe old age of 52. Charlie achieved international fame due to his bad-chimp antics, including smoking. Despite his unhealthy habit, Charlie lived about a decade more than the typical chimpanzee lifespan. Read more: TimesLive
