ANC to meet on rationalising provinces

The ANC would meet within three months to decide on whether to merge certain South African Provinces together, Nomaindia Mfeketo said at the party's national general council on Thursday. Analysts have speculated that the ANC wants to merge the Western Cape with the Eastern Cape and/or the Northern Cape, a move that could potentially cost the DA its majority. Read more: TimesLive
