Charges against Mzilikazi wa Afrika dropped, provisionally

Charges have been provisionally withdrawn against Sunday Times journalist Mzilikazi wa Afrika. According to a status update on Facebook, Wa Afrika says that he has a letter from the National Prosecuting Authority that says all charges against him have been dropped. The NPA, however, has stated that the investigation will continue, and the charges against Wa Afrika could be reinstated at a later date. In August the journalist was arrested in a public sting and charged with fraud and defeating the ends of justice.  Read more: News24, TimesLive
