Investigators still can’t find source of Cape gas leak

Investigators with the City of Cape Town's Disaster Risk Management say that they still cannot find the source of the gas leak at an Epping Industria factory, where 35 people were taken to hospital after leaking gas infiltrated the area. The Navy's chemical, biological and nuclear warfare investigators have been brought in as well, but they too are having trouble finding out where the leak is coming from. Many of the victims said that they had noticed the smell of gas almost three hours before they evacuated the site, and had delayed leaving because they were used to it. Read more: IOL and TimesLive.
