Israeli and Lebanese troops exchange fire along border
Lebanese officials said that their troops opened fire on Israeli soldiers who crossed the border into Lebanon. Israel says the soldiers did not in fact cross the border, but Lebanon is adamant that the soldiers were uprooting a tree on their side when they were shot at. Two people were wounded. The Lebanese-Israeli border has been relatively quiet since 2006 when Israeli troops clashed with Hezbollah in Lebanon.
