Judgement reserved in Cope court battle

Cape High Court judge Essad Moosa reserved judgement on Monday, on whether Mosuia Lekota has the right to take over parliamentary leadership of the party. Mbhazima Shilowa is applying to have the decision by COPE's congress national committee to replace Mvume Dandala with Mosiua Lekota declared null and void. The judge did not give an indication as what his judgement might be, and frankly, we're not sure anybody cares. Read more: SAPA, via the Mail & Guardian
