Judge Hlophe’s legal fees cost taxpayer R6.78 million
The legal costs incurred by Western Cape judge John Hlophe in his dispute with the judges of the Constitutional Court is R6.785.920, Jeff Radebe announced to Parliament. The Department of Justice will cover the cost, Radebe said, because the expenses arose from a judicial officer doing his judicial work, while still in office. Read more: TimesLive
