Frenchman offers to pay burqa fines

French legislators are set to vote on Tuesday on a controversial bill outlawing the wearing of full veils or burqas. However, should the law pass, and should any women choose to disobey this edict, businessman Rachid Nekkaz says he will set up a fund worth €1m to help them pay the resulting fine. Read more: News24
