Zuma indicates SA may bid for Olympics

Hot on the heels of hosting the soccer World Cup, South Africa seems likely to put in a bid to stage the Olympics. On Friday President Jacob Zuma implied that this was indeed the case. "I don't see why we can't bid to host the Olympics," he said. "People are already talking about a possibility of bidding for (other) major events and we are supporting this." Read more: Times Live
