Netanyahu says Israel ready to release 1,000 prisoners in exchange for Schalit

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Thursday evening that Israel would be willing to release 1,000 Hamas prisoners in exchange for the freedom of kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit. Netanyahu's conditions for the exchange are that the prisoners would not be allowed into Judea and Samaria, and that the "most dangerous ones" not be released. Read more: Jerusalem Post
