PE stadium could become white elephant after WC

Nelson Mandela Bay stadium may potentially have no football team to play in it, after the city's only professional football team was sold to  outside investors. Bay United's current owner Sipho Pityana said the new owners could move the team out of the province. With no professional team based in the Eastern Cape, the Port Elizabeth stadium is in great danger of being a white elephant. Read more: USA Today
