Compulsory car insurance discussed in Parliament

The South African Insurance Association said plans to introduce compulsory third-party insurance for vehicles are long overdue and urged government to seriously consider implementing the requirement. What will be interesting to see is how the insurance companies will handle having to extend cover to high-risk individuals, whom they would normally reject. Read more: EWN
