Fifa threatens PE restaurant owner over window decoration

PE restaurant owner Chris van Heerden is the latest person to fall foul of Fifa's stringent ambush marketing laws. Van Heerden has painted a soccer ball and "2010" on his restaurant window. Fifa has told him he must take the image of the soccer ball down, and that if he is found guilty of contravening the Trademark Act, he can be fined R10,000 and face six months in prison. These penalties can be increased if the offending image is not removed immediately. Read more: Sport24
