Twitter Places: geolocation comes to the world’s shortest blogs (and World Cup)

Twitter users can now specify a location for their tweets, including any of the World Cup stadia, so that other users can browse, say, all the chatter coming out of Soccer City during the World Cup final next month. The new feature comes with a range of places pre-created, and is also integrated with the popular Foursquare an Gowalla. VentureBeat, Mashable
