Five die in Kenya crowd explosions

By Andy Rice 14 June 2010

Five people are thought to have died, with several others critically injured, after explosions went off in the middle of a rally against a new constitution for the country. Details are still sketchy; it is not clear whether the explosions were caused by hand grenades or improvised bombs or whether the deaths were from the explosions or in a resulting crush, and nobody has yet claimed responsibility.
