Stephen Bosworth, a veteran US diplomat will be in North Korea on Tuesday for high-profile talks between Pyongyang and Washington. The key issue will be whether Bosworth can really get a commitment from North Korea to rejoin the six-party talks on nuclear disarmament on the Korean peninsula. Bosworth is going directly from a US military base near Seoul to Pyongyang. There has been no confirmation he would would meet Kim Jong-il, but he is apparently scheduled to talk with Kang Sok Ju, the first vice foreign minister. For more, read the AP
