End of Adventure at National Geographic

National Geographic Adventure magazine is to be published less frequently, according to a statement released by National Geographic on Thursday. The title, launched ten years ago, was published eight times a year, but will now survive as two annually published newsstand-only publications. Although the company had been in negotiations to sell the magazine, talks broke down when buyers attempted to acquire the “National Geographic” portion of the title. “Potential buyers were not interested in just buying a magazine called ‘Adventure,’ said John Q.
