Iran frees captured UK yachtsmen

The Iranian government has freed al five British yachtsmen captured by the Iranian navy on 25 November , according to Iranian state radio. The crew were reported to have strayed into Iranian waters when they were sailing from Dubai for a yacht race.  Original reports had said they had been adrift when their propeller was disabled. (Our question is what kind of yachtsmen are they that they couldn't use the sails - or the anchor - when they had their mishap?) Their release comes just a few hours after the UK foreign secretary spoke with his Iranian equivalent by phone and called for the quick release of the five men from Sirri Island in the Persian Gulf.
