Palin speaks! Punts book! Criticizes Obama!

By Branko Brkic 17 November 2009

Speaking on US television just prior to the release of her book, "Going Rogue", Sarah Palin, the former Alaskan governor, Republican vice presidential candidate in 2008 and darling of the Republican right wing, sidestepped her future political plans to run for office, but admitted that "if people will have me, I will".  Palin appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Monday and ABC released advance excerpts of their interview with Barbara Walters that will begin airing on newscasts on Tuesday. Palin rated Barack Obama's performance so far as 4 out of 10 both for his handling of the economy and "dithering" on national security. Palin said she'd received many offers in the past several months, including for a reality show. For more read the AP, ABC News and Oprah's own website.
