Iran may accept ‘framework’ of nuclear agreement

Iran state television says the country will accept the UN’s uranium deal, but wants  "important changes" before it will sign anything. The network also says Iran will make its formal response within 48 hours. The International Atomic Energy Agency’s plan would have Iran send its uranium to Russia for further processing and enrichment up to peaceful-use levels to prevent it enriching the fissile element to weapons grade. However, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran would continue its nuclear programme stressing that when an “illegal regime” (i.e. Israel) has nuclear weapons, it is impossible for other countries to be denied the right to have “peaceful nuclear energy”. Meanwhile, a team of UN experts carried out its second inspection of Iran's newly revealed uranium enrichment facility near Qom to find out if Iran really is using this facility for peaceful purposes For more: Voice of America
