Kerry says Obama should wait until they know what they are fighting for in Afghanistan

Meanwhile, fresh from his experiences in Afghanistan where he helped nudge Hamid Karzai into accepting the run-off election there, Senator John Kerry says Barack Obama should wait until after the Afghanistan election happens before making his decision about the future of American efforts there. Kerry said it wouldn't be “common sense” for Obama to determine whether more US troops should go to Afghanistan without knowing the election results. He said, “You really want to know that this has worked and you want to know what's coming out of it.”
