Free housing in the US
After the sub-prime crisis almost smashed the US economy, and especially the real estate business, to smithereens, some genuine opportunities are starting to appear. The US National Association of Realtors has compiled a list of houses in the US that are available for free. You heard it, for free! The houses are on the market for $8,000 or less and, after applying Obama’s $8,000 rebate for first-time home buyers, the houses are there for the taking. Even as the fees come to up to $2,500, one would agree it’s a bargain. Of course, the houses in question are situated in places like Detroit and Flint, in a recession-scarred Michigan, but we bet that some of the trailer parks in those areas could be empty soon.
