Clinton punts for Boeing in Moscow

US secretary of state Hillary Clinton seems to have become a pitch-woman for Boeing during her visit to Russia. Speaking at a Boeing design centre in Moscow, she said she hoped the government-owned start-up airline, Rosavia, will pick Boeing when it begins to buy planes for its fleet and said Rosavia should ask the Export-Import Bank of the US to help finance these purchases. Rosavia is being established to merge the assets of failed or troubled airlines, and it hopes to buy dozens of planes for its operations in the future.
