Wall Street Journal is the biggest newspaper in the US
Following a dramatic 17% fall in circulation by USA Today to 1.88 million, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) is now officially the biggest newspaper in the US with more than two million total circulation. The picture is slightly murky here though, because the WSJ number includes 356,000 paid-for online subscriptions, so USA Today is still the biggest paper in print. To add to circulation relativity, USA Today relies heavily on distribution in hotels, airlines and airports to build is circulation, so the probable true winner on the swings and round-abouts is WSJ.
