Zuma’s preferred list of Constitutional Court judges leaked
President Jacob Zuma is angry that the names of his preferred candidates for the Constitutional Court have been leaked. But names now out there are Eastern Cape Judge Johan Froneman, the Supreme Court of Appeal's Justice Chris Jafta, Southern Gauteng High Court Judge Sisi Khampepe and North West Judge Mogoeng wa Mogoeng. This leaves judges Mandisa Maya and Leona Theron out in the cold. Zuma is required to consult opposition parties before choosing from the short list. His spokesman Vincent Magwenya, told The Times Zuma was "disappointed" to learn that "political parties have decided to operate outside established processes".
