After a few lean years fortune seems to be smiling on double F1 world champ Fernando Alonso with Ferrari set to announce his move from Renault, where he first won the Formula One World Driver’s Championship. The money will be good too at up to R275-million over a  two-year renewable contract.

One of the most successful F1 drivers of all time, in 2007 Alonso became the second racer after Michael Schumacher to score 100 points in three consecutive seasons.
