Shock! Teazers gender-testing advert causes offence

By Incorrect Author 29 September 2009

Teazers, being the upright establishment everyone knows it to be, is trying to cash in on the Caster Semenya brouhaha by putting up billboards showing a woman with ample cleavage and the slogan "No need for gender testing!" Yet when The Star contacted Teazers owner Lolly Jackson to ask if the ad had anything to do with the Semenya saga, Jackson said it was all a coincidence. "The (Semenya) gender test was the furthest thing from my mind when we did the advert. If it is construed in any other way, maybe it should be that I am directing it at Leonard Chuene - that I am saying I am honest when I put my billboards up there," Jackson said yesterday.
