The last sitting of the National Assembly for the year could have ended with an almighty brawl if the ANC and opposition parties faced off on the motion of no confidence in Jacob Zuma’s presidency. They didn’t. Instead MPs told each other off and limped out of the House after an exhausting year of sniping and confrontation.
