Israel will co-operate with UN Inquiry on Gaza flotilla raid

Israel has agreed to fully co-operate with a UN Inquiry into the attack on flotilla ships bound for Gaza, in which nine Turkish activists were killed. Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Israel had nothing to hide, even though his government fiercely resisted initial demands for an independant international inquiry. The panel will comprise of the former New Zealand Prime Minister Geoffrey Palmer, outgoing Colombian President Alvaro Uribe and a representative from the Israeli government. Read more: The Guardian
