Finance minister says SA will break even on World Cup

South Africa will break even on its hosting of the World Cup, according to finance minister Pravin Gordhan. The World Cup will contribute about R38 billion to the South African economy this year, while the cost of staging the tournament was roughly the same.  Read more: DPA via Earth Times
