Hodgson appointed as new Liverpool manager

Fulham's Roy Hodgson has been appointed as the new Liverpool manager. He has been given a three-year contract. Hodgson will replace Rafael Benitez, who led the Premier League side to its worst finish in 11 years last season. Read: Business Week
