Uzbekistan threatens to shut Kyrgyzstan border
Uzbekistan has accepted 45,000 adult refugees from neighbouring Kyrgyzstan, and has stated that it will need international aid to cope with them all. The country's deputy prime minister said that it will not accept any more refugees from Kyrgyzstan, owing to a lack of capacity.
