Delayed, and watered-down, justice for Bhopal victims
A court found seven managers of Union Carbide's Indian division guilty of negligence in respect of the Bhopal gas disaster in 1984. They were sentenced to a measly two years in prison each, never mind that victims of the industrial accident (well, those lucky enough to have escaped with their lives) continue to suffer 25 years later.
